The one who presents herself against Mathilde Panot in Val-de-Marne accuses in particular activists of La France insoumise.

Shannon Seban, Renaissance candidate for the legislative elections in Val-de-Marne, announced this Monday, June 24, that she had filed a complaint for racist insult, claiming to have been treated several times as a “dirty Zionist” on the sidelines of a popular festival on Sunday in Ivry -on the Seine.

Also elected municipally in Rosny-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis), she declared having been the victim of “contempt”, “public insult” and “violence without incapacity”, “committed due to the race, ethnicity, nation or religion.

She recounted being attacked, first by two men displaying a Palestinian flag, then by a crowd she estimated at several dozen people, during a popular festival in Ivry. “They yelled at me ‘get out, you Zionist’, it was incredibly violent,” she told AFP.

“The foul beast is here”

According to her, “elected officials from the Republic, departmental and Ivry” were present among this crowd insulting her. “At one point, the pressure was too much and I felt my physical integrity threatened, so I left,” she said.

“The filthy beast is here and it no longer sleeps,” added Shannon Seban on her X account this Monday.

“These people are activists of La France insoumise,” she again accused, while she presented herself against the leader of LFI deputies Mathilde Panot.
