Your dream RC Lens for 2024-2025: A Green to form an attacking duo

A new RC Lens will be built this summer for the 2024-2025 season. Lensois.com invited you to propose your dream lineup for next season. You can still send your proposals to the address [email protected] specifying your first name, last name, age and municipality. Please let us know if you do not want your last name to appear.

This morning, it’s Damien Moreau, 26 years old from Ozières, who shares his ideas with us.

His RC Lens eleven for 2024-2025:

Samba – Gradit, Varane (Free), Medina – Aguilar, El Aynaoui, Abdul Samed, Pereira Da Costa, Machado – Cardona (Saint-Etienne/Augsburg), Wahi.
Substitutes: Koffi (Charleroi), Khusanov, Sotoca, Saïd, Cabot, Chavez, Mendy, Sylla, Sishuba, Labeau-Lascary, Guilavogui, M’Bala.

The comment from Lensois.com:
Damien does not think RC Lens will be able to find a club that would put an interesting offer on the table for Elye Wahi this summer, after last season. He therefore leaves with the center forward in attack, but accompanied by Ivan Cardona, who contributed to the rise of Saint-Etienne as part of his loan from Augsburg. No doubt a player that Bollaert would like. We also note the hope that remains to see Raphaël Varane arrive in the event of the departure of Kevin Danso. Damien is counting on the departures of the Austrian but also of Przemyslaw Frankowski, Angelo Fulgini, Adrien Thomasson and Andy Diouf. We note a 3 midfielder with Salis Abdul Samed who he believes will be able to return to his best level and David Pereira Da Costa in a backward position, close to what we saw at the end of the season. He also hopes to promote several young people into the pro group even if it means playing with a rather small core of seasoned players.
