After having exercised its right of pre-emption on the occasion of the sale (150,000 euros) of a lot of 2,536 square meters in the Le Domaine du lac en Bernon 2 subdivision, a decision motivated by the desire to respect the initial destination of these land under construction of social housing, the municipality proposed to transfer this land for an amount of 160,000 euros to a developer, the Altae company. “This transfer is intended for the realization of a real estate program of six housing units then resold to a solidarity land office, as part of a sale in the future state of completion (Vefa). The solidarity land office will market these housing units in the form of a real joint lease, allowing households below a certain resource ceiling to become the owner of housing at an affordable price,” explained the mayor, Fabien. The household that buys real estate under a real joint lease owns the walls of the accommodation but not the land. The latter is the property of a solidarity land organization, approved by the State.
