A new shooting broke out this Friday evening in Grenoble (Isère), on Place Saint-Bruno, in the city center, around 8:15 p.m. between several individuals aboard a car and a two-wheeler, according to information transmitted by the municipal prosecutor's office to CNEWS this Saturday.
According to the police on site, explosions were first heard by local residents, who called the emergency numbers several times. On site, police officers noted the presence on the ground, in front of number 4, of 16 cases of 9 millimeter caliber ammunition.

An apartment located on the first floor of a residence was also hit by gunfire. No victim was present at the scene and according to initial findings, no trace of blood was found. The circumstances of these shootings have not yet been clarified.
This event occurs in a context of increasing gun violence in Grenoble. Two days earlier, on this same square, known for its deal point, a man was found with a katana while police officers were patrolling, according to information from Dauphiné Libéré.
