Sarah Escola is offering a photo exhibition from November 15 to January 15, 2025 at the La Locale café-grocery store, 13, rue de La Boucherie in Limoges. Called Fluoculture, this exhibition aims to show that a new agricultural model is possible. “In 2015, a collective of eleven farmers took over a farm – 78 ha of land and 5 ha of woods – in a hilly landscape and bocage typical of Limousin. The collective diversifies production, seeks to provide an alternative model to the dominant agro-industry. Direct sales, and the pooling of tools, buildings, human resources and ideas allowed them to achieve their initial objectives, in terms of remuneration and free time,” underlines the author.
