Memories – The Beatles singer apparently had quite a blow in the nose
In her memoir to be released on November 19, Cher recounts a memorable evening in 1974 alongside John Lennon and Harry Nilsson at the Playboy Mansion. She had encountered the two musicians in a restaurant in Los Angeles and invited them to join her. An initiative that she perhaps regretted, the two friends being already quite tipsy.
The trio therefore went to the sultry villa where a rather calm movie evening was taking place, to the great dismay of John Lennon and Harry Nilsson who were determined to do something crazy.
An eventful evening
According to the Mirror, who published some passages from Cher : The Memoirthe two Brits started chanting “Hef! Hey! Hey! » with an exaggerated English accent to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. Cher then tried to keep them away by taking them to the “Grotto”, the famous artificial cave overlooking the swimming pool known for having sheltered the most shameful moments of the house.
“I went to get a drink and when I came back, they were in the middle of the cave, completely naked but fortunately still in the water,” remembers the singer. “I was trying not to laugh, but it was impossible as they threatened to walk around the mansion naked.” It took me forever to get them dressed again.
