If you ride on the A1 motorway coming from and towards , we will have to be careful following a serious accident in the Oise: around 6:45 a.m. this Saturday morning, November 16, a car and heavy goods vehicle were involved in this so-called “material” incident at kilometer 54. Except that the truck found itself lying on its side and on fire on the Roberval bridge.

The fire even spread under the viaduct following an oil spill. At the time of writing, there are no injuries but we should expect “a long-term intervention” according to firefighters.

Traffic is complicated on the secondary network

In the meantime, Sanef has closed the A1 for several kilometers for more than three hours now. Stay vigilant well ahead of this collision because there is a mandatory exit to take: number 9 towards Pont-Sainte-Maxence. If you want to avoid the traffic leading to this exit, it is also advisable to take exit no. 10 for Compiègne-Ouest.

But the traffic remains “complicated on the secondary network once you leave the motorway: to cross Les Ageux and Pont-Sainte-Maxence, it takes 40 minutes”, announces Sanef in its last traffic points. You will therefore have to show a little patience.
