Mr. Romero, formerly a plastic arts teacher at Gayant College, produced a clip for his latest music, “Emmène moi”.

Mr. Romero was a plastic arts teacher at Gayant College two years ago. Last Monday, he returned to Douai-Frais-Marais, place de Meaux, to make a clip for his latest music, “Take me“, which is present on his EP, “You North“.

The music video will be released in ten days. Sunday June 16, Mr. Romero, whose real name is Guillaume Romero, announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he was going to shoot a music video the next day in Douai. Accompanied by Kevin Vanthuyne, video graphic designer, the teacher highlighted the inhabitants of the Frais-Marais district. 25 people responded to the call.

Music in homage to the North

The EP “You North” bears its name aptly. Part of the clip was filmed on the Sainte-Henriette slag heaps in Hénin-Beaumont to make a link with the history of the region. The songs will evoke the North and its towns, such as Douai, Roubaix and Tourcoing. “It’s the French variety, a bit like Vianney”explains the person concerned.

A few days ago, it was Koba LaD who was filming a video at the Gayant residence in Douai.
