Rabat – The awards ceremony for the first edition of the “Prix Maroc jeunesse” took place on Friday evening in Rabat, to reward creative projects carried out by young talents.
Thus, first place in the “scientific research” category was awarded to Malak Ait Tamlihat, followed in second position by Ayoub El Imami and in third position by Mohamed Falah.
As for the “technological innovation” category, Ali Khiyati won first place, while second and third places went to Basma Benyihyati and Abdelkhaleq Hadani respectively.
In the “artistic and cultural creation” category, Jad Harjan came first, while the second and third prizes were awarded respectively to Hind Naïra and Abdelali Zawer.
Regarding the “volunteer commitment” category, the first prize went to Yassine Chamekh, followed by Ismail Masoud and Youssef El Rahil who took second and third positions respectively.
As for the “entrepreneurship” category, Hamza Kroubi won first prize, ahead of Reda Enainia and Larbi Mrani Aloui, placed second and third, respectively.
Speaking on this occasion, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, underlined that the launch of the first edition of the Maroc Jeunesse Prize consecrates the culture of recognition and contribution to building the Moroccan dream as well as the democratization of the success of the Kingdom’s youth.
He also specified that this event constitutes an opportunity to discover the great potential of young people and to highlight their talents and creative ideas, noting that these youth initiatives are distinguished by their exceptional quality and their ambitious vision of the future. and reflect the firm desire of these young people to contribute positively to society.
This prize, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Communication – Department of Youth -, under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, aims to create a creative competition for the benefit of young Moroccans and to honor and encourage the distinguished talents of the Kingdom.
Five juries supervised this first edition, each chaired by a personality: Latifa Ahrar (artistic and cultural creation), Kamal Ouedghiri (technological innovation), Michel Zawi (entrepreneurship), Nawal El Charaybi (scientific research), and Amina Afroukhi (voluntary work ).
The first three winners in each category received cash prizes, the respective amounts of 200,000 dirhams, 100,000 dirhams and 50,000 dirhams.
Financial prizes were awarded to the first three places in each category, with a respective value of 200,000 DH, 100,000 DH and 50,000 DH.
The program for this first edition of the Maroc Jeunesse Prize, organized from November 15 to 17, also includes round tables, conferences, thematic meetings, as well as workshops to support and develop the winning projects.
