The IMA Comedy Club is back for a 6th edition, from January 29 to February 2, 2025. French-speaking and Arabic-speaking comedians follow one another during this festival, and a queer and humor evening highlights different talents. Discover the entire event program.
In April 2018, theArab World Institute (THERE IS) launched its first comedy weekend, an event which showcased the talents of stand-up French people with immigrant backgrounds. This programming quickly found its audience, then grew by becoming theIMA Comedy Cluband festival d’humour organized over several days, which brings together young talents and accomplished comedians on the stage of the Institut du Monde Arabe.
This festival celebrates its sixth edition, from January 29 to February 2, 2025. An edition led, again this year, by Pull Seddakformer artistic director of Studio Bagel, Golden Mustache and the Jamel Comedy Club. Around him, we find more than one fifteen comedians and stand-uppersdetermined to make us laugh.
Romantic relationships, culture shocks, everyday challenges, friends, family, love, money, current events… The subjects are as varied as the styles of these guests. The program offers shows in Frenchbut also in various dialects Arabs. This year again, the Arab World Institute is offering a queer party and laugh, with the programming “Habibi”.
