A teenager from a college in Amiens (Somme) was arrested this Thursday after threatening, on social networks, to commit a terrorist act, reports France Bleu Picardie, confirming information from Europe 1. This 13-year-old schoolboy was unknown to the police.
The student, educated at the César-Franck college in Amiens (Somme), was arrested in his establishment. According to corroborating sources joined by France Bleu, he broadcast a message on social networks announcing that he was going to commit an act of a terrorist nature.
He was arrested in the office of the principal of the college, informed by a teacher of the publication of the message. The principal had contacted the Amiens police station. The investigation was entrusted to the local judicial police service, the SLPJ.
The Amiens rectorate indicates that a mobile security team from the rectorate is present at the college. The student is temporarily excluded from the establishment, pending his appearance before the disciplinary council.
