The Pantheon invites families to discover its history and its famous tenants through a strolling show, during the national event Tales and Stories 2024, from January 2 to 4, 2025.

The national event Tales and Stories is back at Pantheon, on January 2, 3 and 4, 2025. For this new edition, the monument located in the heart of Latin Quarterin , offers us a immersive and fun ridein the company of actors. The opportunity for children – as for parents – to discover great women and great men

The Pantheon is a monument which honors the great characters who left a lasting mark on the history of . Great men and women are buried there so that their work and legacy can be celebrated and commemorated. There we find in particular Victor Hugo, Simone Veil, Voltaire, Louis Braille, Pierre and Marie Curie, Jean Moulin, Alexandre Dumas… In all, more than 80 personalities are highlighted there.

The event Tales and Stories allows the doors of monuments to be opened to families. On this occasion, the Pantheon is organizing a unusual animationwhich should attract the attention of young visitors, while introducing them to the history and mission of this emblematic place in Paris.

THE January 2, 3 and 4, 2025families are therefore invited to take part in an interactive walk, in the footsteps of buried Great Men at the Pantheon. Here is the program of the event:

  • Tales and Stories 2024
    Experience “The Last Walk” as a family, a site-specific tale about memory, a colorful and mischievous theatrical journey whose main character is an emblematic personality of the Luxembourg district. If ! If ! We are sure you have already encountered it!
    Suzanne, a very, very old, sassy immortal, has the ability to speak to the Giants of the Pantheon, and thereby perpetuate their memory, and therefore their lives. One morning, she receives a strange postcard, a mysterious message. The Giants need her urgently: one of their number has disappeared, her memory is fading… They must help her. Suzanne then takes us into the mazes of the Pantheon, for an interactive and sensory visit, in search of the Giant to save from oblivion.
    We will meet Mr. Braille, Mrs. Joséphine Baker and Geneviève de Gaulle-Anthonioz, Mr. Arouet, otherwise called Voltaire, Mr. Ordener and Mr. Tronchet…
