Sandwiches sold at Monoprix could be contaminated with listeria. These Daily Monop brand products were sold throughout between November 5 and 14, 2024, indicates Rappel Conso.

Three references are affected by this recall: the polar smoked salmon fresh cheese fresh herbs raw vegetables, the mini smoked salmon fresh cheese fresh herbs and the smoked salmon club fresh cheese fine herbs. On the packaging, there is one of these three barcodes: 3350034030533, 3350033961616 or 3350033961579. The expiration date is between 11/11/2024 and 11/18/2024.

Listeriosis, a potentially serious disease

There is a “suspicion of the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in one of the ingredients used (fresh salmon cheese)”, explains the dangerous product alerts site. If after eating one of these sandwiches you develop a fever, isolated or accompanied by headache, and body aches, it is advisable to consult a doctor. Pregnant women, immunocompromised individuals and the elderly should pay particular attention to these symptoms. Please note that listeriosis is a disease that can be serious. The incubation period can be up to eight weeks.
