Isère: the winter viability plan deployed this Friday

As temperatures drop throughout , the Isère department is deploying its winter viability hoist this Friday, November 15.

The cold is returning to France and the first snowflakes fell a little earlier this week. Faced with the risk of black ice, the department of Isère is launching its winter viability plan this Friday, November 15, until March 15, 2025. Objectives: permanent monitoring, defining traffic conditions, a commitment to results on a level of service for each type of road and the prioritization of the network according to the geographical location and the service challenges.

300 agents and 100 seasonal employees are already mobilized on the ground to maintain the approximately 4,700 km of road. Six million euros will also be released to enable optimal service.
