As we approach the Advent market which will take place this year at Érainesnear Falaise, Saturday November 30, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., volunteers from APRéPEC (Association for the preservation and rehabilitation of exceptional Coulimortein heritage) meet every week around a decoration workshop.

Christine, Brigitte, Sylvie, Laurence and the others are busy around the woven fabric crowns in a good mood. Some sew, others stuff kapok fabrics in different colors.

Achievements from 5 to 30 euros

Potholders are made to take dishes out of the oven, Christmas boots to decorate fireplaces and, why not, fill them with chocolates or sweets, pie holders, enough to carry a pie, a cake, door hearts, enough to make nice gifts.

Men will cut logs of wood where hyacinths will be placed to make table centers. There will be fir Advent calendars and fir wreaths that will be made at the last minute. On site, there will be pancakes, cakes, drinks and soups.

The APRèPEC stand will offer its creations ranging from 5 to 30 euros. Exhibitors will offer local and regional products. Jewelry, various objects, cosmetics…
