The “Vitrines des métiers d’art”, initiated by the Chamber of Crafts of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, offer artisans the opportunity to exhibit in Crédit Mutuel agencies. A unique showcase to promote regional know-how.
The Chamber of Crafts of Nouvelle-Aquitaine offers artisans the opportunity to exhibit their creations in Crédit Mutuel branch windows. This project, which extends over several departments, aims to increase the visibility of local artisans at no additional cost. In Dordogne, 18 artisans are participating in this edition. This initiative, also present in Gironde and Charente, highlights various professions, from wood carving to artistic photography.
Interactive windows to attract the public
Shop windows are not just passive exhibition spaces. Passers-by can access artist information via business cards and QR codes, making it easier to connect with their sites and social networks. Caroline Gasser, economic development manager, encourages the population to visit the workshops and consume locally, especially during the holiday season. An annual membership to the “Crafts Route” allows artisans to participate in these initiatives and appear in widely distributed guides.
