A 19-year-old young man was seriously injured after losing control of his motorcycle, avenue Jean-Zay in Orléans, Thursday November 14.
A traffic accident involving a motorcyclist occurred around noon on Thursday, November 14 near the Sainte-Croix-Saint-Euverte high school in Orléans, on avenue Jean-Zay.
The motorcyclist is a young man aged 19, who lost control of his motorcycle and violently hit a traffic light. He was treated on site in serious condition, his life prognosis is in jeopardy. He was transported at 1 p.m., under motorized escort to the emergency room of the Orléans university hospital center.

The Samu, the municipal police, the national police and five firefighters intervened on the spot.
In order to facilitate the emergency response, one lane of Avenue Jean-Zay was neutralized near the accident, as well as access to Rue Jean-Avezard.
Traffic should remain slightly disrupted on the avenue while the police carry out the usual findings. The violence of the impact also damaged the traffic light pole; agents from Orléans Métropole were on site to secure the device.
