A new nature space has just been inaugurated at the corner of rue de la Corderie d’Offard and rue des Marronniers.
This space was created on the initiative of residents, members of the citizen participation body of the Northern Sector Committee in conjunction with city services and the elected officials concerned.
The Committee now wishes to bring this space to life by allowing residents or associations to be the actors and co-managers of this place. At their initiative, it could, on an ad hoc basis and depending on the season, host different events such as: open-air exhibition, Pilate course in nature, music audition, forum on biodiversity, reading workshop or even stargazing night.
Festive time and call for ideas for the name of this new nature space
The new fruit tree plantations planned for the fall in the space will once again be an opportunity to continue thinking towards an autonomous mode of operation. For this, the members of the committee organize a festive time September 6 from 6:00 p.m. on site for a time to reflect on the potential of this new space around a shared picnic (dishes brought by everyone).
But before that, they are launching a call for contributions to name this “triangle of greenery”.
