A major update for Samsung smartphones is approaching!

L’interface OneUI 6.1.1 is announced as the next big major update for Samsung smartphones, promising the integration of innovative features supported by artificial intelligenceaccording to statements from leaker Ice Universe.

What does the interface update bring? OneUI 6.1.1 for Samsung smartphones?

This year, Samsung may deviate from its usual launch cycle by equipping the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 with the interface OneUI 6.1.1while postponing the release of OneUI 7which would be based on Android 15.

OneUI 6.1.1 is envisioned as a substantial, feature-rich upgrade artificial intelligence significant advancements and improvements for the camera. The leaker says that this version will roll out for the Galaxy S24 series in August, although a specific date has not been set.

The leaker also points out that Samsung plans to integrate a new toolartificial intelligence for graffiti creation in the upcoming One UI 6.1.1 release, fully exploiting the S Pen and creativity. This feature could allow users to turn any writing done with the S Pen into artistic graffiti.

It is noted that the functionalities ofartificial intelligence current ones in OneUI 6.1 do not exploit the S Pen, and it seems that Samsung is trying to make the most of the capabilities offered by the Galaxy AI. Samsung also plans to improve the system animations with this new version.

Samsung usually begins testing new versions of Android around July or August. The company then rolls out a stable version with the new version of Android around October, right after the new version of Android is released to the public.

However, according to the leaker, Samsung could delay the launch of OneUI 7 based on Android 15, due to exceptional circumstances this year.

Since its launch, the Galaxy S24 series has yet to receive a major firmware update. Ice Universe claims that the version OneUI 6.1.1scheduled to launch in August for this series, would also bring camera improvements and address many image processing issues.
