A new place for a new beginning. Victim of an arson last January after only one year of existence, T'rêve has reopened its doors, in the Port du Rhin district, in Strasbourg.
Located on the ground floor of the Saint-Joseph home, the place welcomes people living on the street for a day. It plans to once again welcome nearly a thousand people per month.
“Take care of yourself”
“There is the basis which is to be able to have a coffee, rest, charge your phone, take a shower, take a nap, have a bite to eat or even store your luggage,” explains Floriane Varieras, deputy mayor of Strasbourg. in charge of the inclusive city, at the microphone of BFM Alsace.
Activities are also offered. “We can accommodate a lot of things here, it can range from sophrology workshops, to yoga, cartography or French classes, foreign languages,” adds the elected official.
“It’s a set of small services that allows you to say ‘we leave your worries outside the building and here, it’s a space to take care of yourself for the time you need’”, summarizes Floriane Will vary.
