Summer season: Here is the Royal Air Maroc system

As the summer season approaches, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) unveils its system. The national company intends “respond to a demand that promises to increase sharply”. It plans an exceptional program which will include a strengthening in particular of the number of seats, the routes served and the RAM network as well as the fleet thanks to the chartering of new aircraft.

Concretely, RAM offers a range of more than 6.5 million seats in more than 90 destinations across four continents, an increase of more than 300,000 seats compared to last summer. That’s not all: six new international lines will be launched, in addition to two domestic transversal routes. “This offer aims to respond to strong demand from Moroccans around the world, due to the massive travel of the latter to their motherland during the summer holidays”explains the company.

In detail, almost half of the seat supply, or more than 3.2 million, will be deployed on the European continent, with 671 weekly flights which will connect 37 European destinations to 11 Moroccan airports. In this market, RAM announces a 10% increase in the number of seats compared to last year. The North America and Middle East regions are not left out and will have, respectively, 533,586 and 282,361 seats. Note that the offer in North America will record an increase of 13%.

The national airline will also have 1.3 million seats for African destinations, an increase of 19%. This will make it possible to serve 28 destinations on the continent with 271 flights per week. In response to the strong demand from Moroccans established in the Netherlands during this summer period, RAL will strengthen its presence in Rotterdam by launching three new direct air routes directly linking the Dutch city to Tangier, Oujda and Nador. Added to this is the launch of three new lines directly linking Casablanca to Abuja, Manchester and Naples.
