Here we go again for a new season!
Sixth season around children's literatureproposed by the association TAPATOUDIwith the assistance of the media libraries of the Community of Communes of Clermontais, the media libraries of the Community of Communes of the Hérault valley and the media libraries of the Hérault Méditerranée Urban Community.
A season that has been going on for 5 years, through monthly interventions in schools, nurseries, clsh… of children's authors and/or illustrators as well as free meetings in media centers or libraries open to the general public.
Then secondly, a festival around children's literature scheduled from May 16 to 18, 2025 in Pézenas bringing together authors and illustrators with numerous activities around children's books.
These November 26, 27 and 28, 2024, it is Grégoire Vallancien who opens the season and who will travel our roads to meet students from the schools of Montarnaud, St Félix de Lodève, Nézignan l'Evêque, Saint Thibéry, Tourbes and the colleges of Clermont l'Hérault and Montagnac.
Grégoire Vallancien is an author and illustrator for children. He lives and works in Paris. After studying graphic design, he launched into illustration – first for the press, advertising and corporate communications – then for children's publishing. Grégoire Vallancien is notably the illustrator of all the titles in the Ma Première Mythologie collection published by Hatier jeunesse.
The successful author-illustrator will introduce you to his world with 3 meetings in the media library in the form of creative workshops.
-Tuesday November 26 at the Saint Thibéry media library at 5:30 p.m.
-Wednesday November 27 at the Montarnaud media libraries at 10:30 a.m. and Clermont l'Hérault at 3:00 p.m.
These meetings are free and open to the public, accompanied by reading, discussions with the author and signings. Sale of books by the “Un point, un trait” bookstore in Lodève. Come along.
