Since the beginning of November 2024, a new general practitioner took up residence at the municipal health center of Saint-Brevin-les-Pins (-Atlantique).

He joins the team already made up of Brigitte Launay, Marc Beausoleil, Véronique Davière and Christophe Larché. Dr. Loiseau is on 5e practitioner employed by the City. He will exercise, in accordance with his choice, part-time (80 %).

One year of waiting

It's an understatement to say that the wait will have been long since it's been more than a year since she worked to find the right profile.

“There is no rush of applications and when we did have them, they did not materialize for various reasons,” explains the mayor, Dorothée Pacaud, delighted with this recruitment which will make it possible to “clear the waiting list” of the center where 3,600 patients are currently being followed.

Now that the 5e general practitioner is there, the Brévinois municipality will be able to look into the recruitment of a sixth from next year. “A reflection will be carried out,” confirms the elected official.
