A passion and many encounters: an Agenaise soon to be a columnist in “Proprio à tout prix”

the essential
Nathalie Bongibault Julien, real estate advisor at BSK, enters “Proprio à tout prix”. She is the show’s new Agen consultant and will write a column on the Paris set.

For Nathalie, a house is not just four walls, “it’s the purchase of a lifetime”. Her job consists of selling “pages of lives” as she likes to call them. She was immersed in this world at a very young age through her father, who was already in the profession, but decided to embrace the profession later. Going through various positions, she became a real estate consultant in 2016 for the BSK network: “It’s the very family-oriented state of mind that I like here.” At the end of May, everything changed after a phone call.

A life dedicated to encounters

It is a constellation of people and stories that revolve around Nathalie. Since his arrival in Agen in 2003, there has been no shortage of meetings: “Life is made up of networks in the broad sense, and it is thanks to them that we can move forward. I worked in different structures in Agen, I was also active at the associative level with Planète Autisme. Even though I’m only on the board of directors, I still have an autistic child,” she says gently.

Nathalie uses this web that she has woven throughout the city every day. Indeed, real estate is above all a matter of encounters: “If you don’t like people, you can’t do this job,” she says, “the house is only the support, it’s “It’s what’s behind it that counts.” Slipping in a few anecdotes, such as that of a lady now too old to take care of her home, humanity comes before the good for the consultant.

Heading for the cameras

A phone call, followed by the big news, is how Nathalie discovered that she was the new Agen consultant for Proprio à tout prix: “It’s a great opportunity that takes me out of my comfort zone,” she admits. -she with a smile. But be careful, there is no question of abandoning your customers. “I especially don’t want them to think that I’m abandoning my activity, on the contrary. I want to highlight their goods differently. »

TV, why not, but it’s not the priority. For Nathalie, the job has two sides. The first is, unsurprisingly, that of sales. The consultant is responsible for offering goods exclusively on screen while viewers try to guess the price. Easy to get into the game.

Fortunately, the more “local” facet of the show has something to delight the Lot-et-Garonnais. Under the advice of Nathalie, the film team will produce reports on key activities in the region. Any upcoming topics? Affirmative answer but impossible to know more at the moment.

See real estate differently

The columnist wants to change the image of the profession, often judged for its lucrative side. For Nathalie, the French maintain a “Patrick Bruel” vision of real estate. “In The First Name, we see him as a haughty and pretentious character. » However, shows devoted to real estate are a hit. On the small screen, series such as The Agency (Netflix) are in full bloom. One thing is certain, the public remains there.

Humans must nevertheless be at the center, especially when we enter into people’s privacy: “We go into the toilets and bathrooms of all the houses,” says Nathalie with humor. This is not something trivial. » But satisfaction remains a difficult undertaking, and criticism is never far away. “It’s still the game. Only the one who doesn’t do anything doesn’t do stupid things. »
