A traffic accident occurred this Tuesday around 6:45 p.m. near the Paloma concert hall, route d'Avignon in Nîmes. Three vehicles were involved and five people injured. In a car, three young men aged around twenty were seriously injured, one was ejected from the vehicle. In a second car, a 46-year-old man was also trapped in the passenger compartment and seriously injured. In total, three people were trapped in the passenger compartments of two cars and seriously injured and one was ejected.
The driver of a third car, who wanted to avoid the other two, ended her race in a bus shelter. She is shocked, and slightly injured.
Nearly 25 firefighters are on site, with four ambulances and two medical teams, that of the SMUR and that of the firefighters. Crews from the national and municipal police are also on this accident. The road was closed to allow rescue operations, around 7:30 p.m. the authorities advised avoiding the area.
