A man was on trial for immediate appearance, Tuesday, November 12, at the criminal court (Dordogne) for refusing to comply, driving while drunk, speeding and driving without insurance. On the night of November 8 to 9, he was arrested by the Bergerac police officers after fleeing twice, while driving in a state of obvious intoxication.

The first time, the police spotted a vehicle with three people on board, speeding in town. They try to stop him. The car fled in a rodeo at more than 100 km/h, to the Gilets reception area, where the occupants disappeared while the police vehicle was blocked by several people.

Second episode, shortly before 3 a.m., when another car evades control, flees at high speed, skids with the handbrake, rushes towards the police and hits the facade of a house. She ended up stopping on the fairground square, in the middle of fairground trucks, and the driver fled on foot, before being caught.

In both cases, the police identified Hilal Henni. The latter denies everything at the bar. However, he did not convince the court, which sentenced him to eighteen months of detention, plus eight months of suspended sentence revocation in two other cases. This man, already convicted 16 times, has ten days to appeal.
