Founded in 1973, the Nadau group has built up a reputation as a cult group through albums and triumphant tours! France Bleu Gironde offers you your invitations for their concert, Sunday December 1 at the Palais des Congrès in Bordeaux.
It's Christmas already!
Roll up (“Christmas” in Gascon), it is the Landes bagpipes which goes wild with the electric guitar, it is the traditional singing which has been fried and rubbed with the music for more than 50 years. Nadau is four Olympias, a packed Zénith, thousands of always loyal fans and a two-hour bilingual show full of humor, poetry, enthusiasm and impertinence. Originally from Labastide-Cézéracq near Pau, Nadau today goes far beyond the borders of his Béarnaise and Gascon base, and has become the ambassador of Occitan music. and one of the emblematic groups of Occitanie.
Occitan in songs
Since the release of their first album entitled “Monsur lo regent” in 1975, Nadau was still a hit. From the end of the 1970s, Lous de Nadau actively campaigned to create teaching of the Occitan language, in order to safeguard it and bring it into modernity. Their songs speak of our lives, our dreams, our loves, our land and its history. The 50th anniversary tour, which began with six concerts at the Zénith de Pau, was a huge success. Please note, the two dates planned for Bordeaux Congress Center Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1 are sold out!
France Bleu Gironde offers you your invitations (the very last ones!) for their concert scheduled for Sunday, December 1 at 4:30 p.m. at the Palais des sports in Bordeaux-Lac, followed by a meeting with the musicians of the group at the end of the show!
