The Gers Youth Championship will be held on November 23 and 24 at the Tourrenquets village hall
The Departmental Chess Committee 32 is organizing jointly with the Exchequer of Armagnac, the Gers Individual Youth Chess Championship 2024-2025. This championship will take place from Saturday November 23 to Sunday November 24, 2024 at the Tourrenquets village hall.
5 categories :
Minimes (children born in 2009 and 2010), Benjamins (children born in 2011 and 2012), Pupilles (children born in 2013 and 2014), Poussins (children born in 2015 and 2016) Petits Poussins (children born after 2016).
Rewards: 5 cups (1 per winner per category), 10 slightly large and pretty medals (for second and third per category) and the other children will have a small medal each.
- For each category, a “mixed” tournament will be organized. The rules of the game are those of the FFE published in the referee's book (latest edition to date).
- Can participate: all French players or players educated in France who have up to date their FFE license taken in a club in the Gers department.
- License A compulsory for categories U12 to U16 and license B (or A) for categories U8 and U10.
This Gers championship is a qualifier for the Occitanie regional championship which will take place from February 26 to March 1 in Marseillan (Hérault) which itself is a qualifier for the French youth championship which will take place from April 27 to May 4 in Vichy (Allier).
