A show from a local association mixing musique et theater is already an event. But when he adds to all that the creation of a film in which southern Girondins can play the extrasthis becomes more than intriguing. This is what the La Botte du Cap association, in Loupiac, in Gironde, offers with its new original creation: Vincent.
La Botte du Cap is a theater association created in April 2024 and composed of 12 members active people who are expanding their activities to cinema and music. Leena Dupiol, vice-president and co-founder of the association with Guillaume Sebastiani, president, co-wrote the scenarios. Sixteen scenarios have already been created and have now been submitted.
The storyline of the show
One of these stories is the origin of the upcoming show and film: Vincent. Vincent is Anna's brother whose life will change when this one dies in a car accident. Devastated by this terrible news, Anna goes to isolate herself in the family country house to write the funeral oration. What she doesn't know is that Vincent's soul is still at her side, in the form of a guardian angel.
This staging will involve 2 h 30 music, theater and cinema. It will give rise, upstream (end of November 2024), to filming of a 25 minute film.
Vincent, a participatory and local project
To carry out its project, La Botte du Cap called on several other local players. For example, the musicians from the Louiacaise Yanarkat association will compose the music for the show.
Volunteers of Cadillac-sur-Garonne, Loupiac and Podensac, the Château les Faures, associations like Rétro passion des deux Rives and the managers of the Cadillac businesses Jeux de mots, Opti'soins, le Boudoir de Rose, la Cave Cadillac will also participate in this colossal project.
The Louiacais Gaudiet castle where part of the film will be shot, the Lm Pizzas pizzeria in Langon which is one of the main sponsors and the Tourist Office have also joined the project.
In addition, Jean-Franck Lovo, president of Yanarkat, will lend his two cars Bentley et Cadillac and his lodge, Les trois Tilleuls, to those who take part in the filming and who live further away. To find out everything about this shoot, information meeting is scheduled for Saturday November 16, 2024.
Shooting of the film on November 23 and 24
Inserted into the show, the 25-minute film begins when Anna learns of Vincent's sudden death. Filming will take place Saturday 23 et Sunday November 24 2024, in Loupiac and Cadillac.
