works on the A709, disruptions planned between Saint-Jean-de-Védas and Vendargues
VINCI Autoroutes continues its renovation work on l'A709, between the Vendargues (n°28) and Saint-Jean-de-Védas (n°32) interchanges. Disruptions are expected between November 12 and 15.
Work on the A709 will take place between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following day to minimize inconvenience to road users. Three interchanges are affected by these disruptions: Vendargues (n°28), Montpellier east (n°29), Montpellier south (n°30) and Montpellier west (n°31), consequently leading to a number of deviations:
Towards Spain on the night of Tuesday November 12 to Wednesday November 13:
- Closure of the A709 between the Montpellier south interchange (n°30) and the Saint-Jean-de-Védas interchange (n°32).
- Closure of the Montpellier west interchange (n°31).
- Drivers will have to leave the motorway at the Montpellier south interchange (n°30) and follow the S17 route to reach the Saint-Jean-de-Védas interchange (n°32).
In the direction of Nîmes
During the night of Wednesday 13 to Thursday 14 November:
- Closure of the A709 between the Saint-Jean-de-Védas interchange (n°32) and the Montpellier south interchange (n°30).
- Closure of the Montpellier west interchange (n°31).
- Drivers will have to leave the motorway at the Saint-Jean-de-Védas interchange (n°32) and follow the S16 route to reach the Montpellier south interchange (n°30).
During the night of Thursday November 14 to Friday November 15:
- Closure of the A709 between the Montpellier west interchange (no. 31) and the Montpellier east interchange (no. 29).
- Closure of the Montpellier south interchange (n°30).
- Drivers will need to leave the motorway at the Montpellier West interchange (No. 31), follow the S14 route to reach the Montpellier South interchange (No. 30), then take the S10 to reach the Montpellier interchange. is (n°29).
