the anthem of Moselle schoolchildren for the 2024 Olympics

This Tuesday, June 18, more than 500 Moselle schoolchildren gathered on the Place d’Armes in Metz to sing together “Move!” », the school anthem of the Olympic Games and Paris 2024 Paralympics.

Born within the territory, in Forbach, the song continues to gain popularity, its frenzied refrain gaining the support of the students. It is now used in many French departments and even crosses the border with a German translation.

The song comes from a partnership between the CPEM of Moselle, Gérald DELIQUE and Inecc-Mission Voix Lorraine. Its objective is to create a feeling of unity within colleges while encouraging practicing physical activity. The melody includes many sports references which are at the heart of the choreography.

Here are the lyrics to “Move! »:

The lyrics and music were created by Aurélien MEYER, while Gérald DELIQUE took care of the arrangements.
