On Thursday, November 7, at the Sainte-Hélène de Gramat college, computers were handed over to sixth grade students as part of the Ordi'Lot operation with a distribution of 913 computers in the department. Thirteen students from Sainte-Hélène had expressed interest in this discount. “We have seen a trend towards an increase in the number of requests since 2020 after a slowdown during the Covid phase,” noted Freddy Terlizzi, departmental advisor present during the distribution. Emilie Vermande and Julien Muller from the departmental council handed over the devices. These laptops also serve as tablets: the screen is touchscreen, full HD with 360° rotation. They have a value of 600 euros. The assistance varies between 20% and nearly 95% of the price of the computer depending on the family quotient. It comes with around forty applications used in schools: math, technology, science, French, languages, geography and even 140 digital books. This operation allows families to benefit from reliable equipment to work at home and stay in contact with the college.
