Christophe Dugarry denounced this Monday on RMC the behavior of Didier Deschamps towards Zinédine Zidane. According to the former Blues striker, the coach will never say good things about the ex-playmaker whom he sees as a competitor.
Does Didier Deschamps have a problem with Zinédine Zidane? If, unlike Noël Le Graët, the current coach of the Blues has always taken care not to scratch the former Ballon d'Or, regularly presented as another candidate for the bench of the France team, it is his silence which Christophe Dugarry blames him this time.
Sunday, in an interview given to Téléfoot on https://twitter.com/telefoot_TF1/status/1855576943715926299“DD” refused to give the name of the best player with whom he played in his career, where many had Zidane in mind.
“Of course he will never put it (in his list)”, launched “Duga” this Monday in Rothen s’ignée, on RMC. “He won't say 'Zizou' because he won't emphasize it. He will never try.”

“The best he's known, of course, is Zidane. Who made him win the World Cup? It's Zidane! Who made him win a lot of things? “is Zidane”, insisted the 1998 world champion. “But he will never say it! He will never say it!”
“He will never make a decisive pass”
The former French team striker has his explanation for the behavior of Didier Deschamps and his relationship with Zinédine Zidane. For the consultant, it is impossible to see the technician saying good things about the former number 10 of the Blues as long as he sees him as a possible competitor. And as long as he coaches, that will be the case.
“He’s been here for twelve years and he’ll never make an assist. He’s never made an assist in his life so even then he won’t make one. He doesn’t know how to do that,” said then tackled “Duga” on RMC. “It’s the truth, he will never say anything good about a possible competitor.”
And Christophe Dugarry concludes on the personality of Didier Deschamps: “No, it's always calculated and thoughtful: 'Yes but I don't say, yes but I come at the right time to make people believe that everything is fine'. Everything is calculated , everything is like that. It’s never otherwise, ever.”
