THE June 28, 2024 at 7 p.m. the inauguration of the summer exhibition “Residing/Reinhabiting – The village, the ruin and the forest“.
This will take place in the presence ofEmmanuel Tiblouxdirector of theNational School of Decorative Arts and artistic director of this 33e residence – and artists and designers Jennifer Caubet, Jean-Sébastien Lagrange, Sabine Mirlesse, Anna Saint-Pierre, Samuel Vermeil, Nicolas Verschaeve and Eugénie Touzé.
Discovering the installed works…
During the opening evening, the artistic director and residents offer a walk to discover the works installed in the surrounding area (mills and marshes). Then, the outdoor meal prepared by “Cocottes et Faitout Traiteur” will highlight local products. Coline’s wine truck will be there to quench thirsts. The entire evening will be set by a Lady Cat DJ set.
With the cooking of Cocottes et Faitout
On the dinner menu: Asparagus risotto or pork Colombo and rice pilaf – Dessert: Salambo. A young company based in Luzech, the cuisine of Cocottes et Faitout is modern and traditional, made largely with products from the Lot and seasonal sectors. The restitution of the 2024 residences “Residing/Reinhabiting – The village, the ruin and the forest” and 2023 “Whatever the choice here will come” will give rise to an exhibition open to the public from June 29 to August 30, 2024.
