The renovation of the residence on avenue Hélène de Tournon was the subject of a progress report. Completion of work planned for 2026.
A site visit was held on Tuesday June 4, on the site of the residence on avenue Hélène de Tournon, in the presence of Mayor Frédéric Sausset, Ingrid Richioud, vice-president of the departmental council, Christiane Cherrar, deputy, Marc-Antoine Quenette, president of Ardèche Habitat, and entrepreneurs. You should know, regarding the progress of the rehabilitation of housing on occupied sites, that the tenants are present during the work, and are met individually by Ardèche Habitat agents. Phases 1 and 2, concerning 119 housing units of the 225 in the residence, were completed in April 2024. This work consists of improving the thermal quality of the buildings, exterior appearance thermal insulation facade and roof terrace, work of compliance in the common area, i.e. installation of heat meters, repair of electrical panels, change of VMC boxes, change from three-phase to single-phase.
Transform the neighborhood
Inside, there are plans to repair the electrical installations, replace the wooden windows with double-glazed PVC, rolling shutters, change the entrance doors to the apartments.
The work amounts to 2.4 million euros. This work allows a significant reduction in tenants’ energy consumption. Facades that take on colors: green, blue, orange, yellow… enough to transform the neighborhood. For phase 3 and 4, i.e. 106 housing units, will take place at the end of 2024 and delivery at the end of 2026, at a cost of four million.
