Rue Léon-Blum, in the Bourny district of (Mayenne), was cut off in both directions of traffic. This Monday, November 11, 2024, it was around 3:20 p.m. when a collision between two cars took place on this axis for a reason that the findings and various testimonies must make it possible to determine.

The driver evacuated to Château-Gontier hospital

In one of the vehicles, a 71-year-old driver and his 97-year-old passenger, both trapped in the passenger compartment. Fifteen firefighters came to their aid to free them and provide first aid on the spot.

The septuagenarian was transported to Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne hospital. The nonagenarian was treated at Laval hospital, very close to the scene of the accident.
