This Monday, November 11, around 1 p.m., a combine harvester left the road before crashing into a town hall premises on the D119 in Bruch (Lot-et-Garonne).

Amazing scene on the D119 in Bruch (Lot-et-Garonne). A combine harvester crashed into a house of around 80 m2 on the side of the road about 45 minutes ago. The roads department has just arrived on site.

The slightly injured driver

No injuries were reported inside the building, as this is premises belonging to the town hall, where only the equipment of La Compagnie des , an association which promotes local heritage, is stored. However, the tractor driver was slightly injured. He was transported to the Hospital Center.

The reasons for the tractor's deviation are still unknown. The driver's alcohol test was negative. The possibility of a mechanical problem is raised, being according to the mayor of Alain Lorenzelli a machine “which is driven with a GPS”.

The house could collapse when the tractor is pulled out.

The vehicle will be disintegrated, which could cause the building to collapse. “We are trying to recover everything we can to store it in municipal buildings,” said the mayor.
