Creuse: Jean-Luc Mélenchon attends the November 11 ceremony in Gentioux-Pigerolles

Jean-Luc Mélenchon chose Creuse to commemorate the armistice of 1918. The leader of La Insoumise attends this Monday, November 11, the ceremony at the Gentioux-Pigerolles war memorial alongside several dozen people. The town is one of the rare towns in France to have a pacifist war memorial. It bears the inscription “cursed be war“.

This is the first time that Jean-Luc Mélenchon goes to Gentioux-Pigerolles on November 11. “This monument is magnificent.” he said and this slogan “curse the war” it certainly speaks to me and it should speak to everyone“. After the official ceremony, Jean-Luc Mélenchon attended the pacifist gathering where he spoke.
