Passing of the Olympic Flame June 30 Reims will come alive in the colors of the Olympic Flame for its passage through the city of coronations on June 30. For the occasion, the people of Rémois will be able to take advantage of several activities organized by the City in parallel with the Flame Relay which will travel through the city.
Vign’art: From May 17 to September 22 The festival where contemporary art meets the charm of the Champagne vineyards, to offer unique works of their kind. Nestled in the heart of the vineyard, Vign’art renews the pleasure of artistic exploration for its fifth edition.
JULY
La Rémoisade: July 11 What if we explored the surrounding area this summer? Put on your sneakers and go for an 8km walk to discover the city in a different way. The journey is supervised by a guide who will reveal some anecdotes to you throughout the journey.
Festival of Music from Here and Elsewhere: From June 28 to July 28 The Musique sur la Ville association returns for its annual meeting with an original program, highlighting musical practices of all kinds.
AUGUST
Reims Vélotour 2024: August 25, 2024 The famous event will once again stop in Reims on Sunday August 25. The idea? Cycle through the city of coronations, discovering its emblematic places, on a route of 12 to 18 km, all in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Eau’dyssée boat trip: from April 28 to September 30 Departing from the Tourist Office, embark on an exploration along the water. This boat trip reveals Châlons and areas inaccessible on foot. Your guide and pilot will share historical information and anecdotes about the city.
SEPTEMBER
78th edition of the Châlons-en-Champagne Fair: from August 30 to September 9. With more than 800 exhibitors, the 78th Châlons-en-Champagne Fair is the unmissable back-to-school event. Automotive, gastronomy, decoration… find numerous stands on site to discover with family or friends, as well as exclusive concerts every evening.
European Heritage Days: September 21 to 22. The traditional European Heritage Days will take place this year from September 21 to 22. Enough to discover the emblematic places of the department such as Reims Cathedral, the Moulin de Valmy or the Marne Prefecture thanks to guided tours organized during these two days dedicated to culture.
The flagship event of the summer: JUMP! from June 6 to 23
On the occasion of the Olympic Games, La Cartonnerie offers the people of Rémois a dynamic and captivating event during the month of June, mixing cultural and sporting practices to perfection. This event will close the busy season by highlighting new Olympic disciplines, closely linked to fashion and music. An immersive experience that invites young and old to make the Olympics their own.
From June 6 to 8
In collaboration with Champagne Basket, the Rémois will be able to discover 3×3 basketball through several tournaments, a variation of the game that we all know which favors fast and short actions. You will also be able to attend several concerts alongside the activities, mixing dribbling and musical sets.
From June 13 to 16
It is skateboarding which will be in the spotlight this time with the collaboration of Fise Expérience, during its visit to Reims. Now an Olympic discipline, you will be able to admire the prowess of athletes on ramps and urban courses while enjoying the various DJs planned for the occasion.
From June 19 to 23
A new discipline for these 2024 Olympics, breakdancing will also have the right to be highlighted through battles, initiation, but also discussion times planned to answer all questions. With the support of studio 511, dancers will be able to show their talent and creativity.
