A intergenerational musical and artistic show entitled “Victory, youth, we were 15 years old” will take place on Wednesday June 19, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Hippodrome roomroute de Coulonces, in Vire Normandy.


For the occasion, seniors from Bocage Viroisaccompanied by young people, will be honored in an artistic performance.

They live in nursing homes, in independent or service residences, benefit from the services of the ADMR, the CCAS of Vire Normandie, Amaelles or attend the CLIC du Bocage, the Lemaitre socio-cultural center, the Vire music conservatory or the Noues de Sienne school of dance and music. They are students at Castel primary school or MFR La Florie viroise.

What do these young people and these seniors have in common? A great intergenerational adventure around music and the transmission of memory bringing together 100 artists aged 6 to 99 to put on a show.

These new local stars will make you go from laughter to tears and change the way you look at our elders.

The year 2024 is marked by the 80th anniversary of the Landings, a period when our elders were only 15 years old, children, adolescents.

On stage, the artists of a day will cover tunes from 1940s directoryexpressing themselves in a different way mixing songs and dance accompanied by the musicians of theNoues de Sienne School of Music and Dance and Vire Normandy Music Conservatory.

A show full of joy and sharing with a large dose of smiles and incredible energy, A moment of exchange, inspired by sharing, memories, good humor and the pleasure of being together, in music.
