Legislative elections 2024: the presidential camp does not present any candidate in Limousin

Candidates for the legislative elections of June 30 and July 7 submitted their candidacy before 6 p.m. this Sunday. Renaissance and the presidential camp will not present no candidate in Corrèze.

A decision in line with the words of Emmanuel Macron who had wanted the gathering of those who have “knew how to say no to extremes”, during his press conference last Wednesday.

No choice between Francis Dubois (right) and François Hollande (PS)

In the second constituency, the member parties of the presidential majority are calling for support for Frédérique Meunier, the Les Républicains candidate. In the first, they call for blocking the National Rally, without making a choice between Francis Dubois (Nous France) and François Hollande (PS / Nouveau Front Populaire).

In Haute-Vienne, support for Republican Alternative candidates

In Haute-Vienne, the majority parties do not present candidates either. On the other hand, they clearly support the candidates of the Republican Alternative in each constituency:

  • Isabelle Negrier, first constituency
  • Marive-Eve Tayot, second constituency
  • Gilles Toulza, third constituency

These are candidates from the right or the center, some of whom are or have been close to the majority of the President of the Republic.

The list of candidates for legislative elections in Corrèze and Haute-Vienne East to be found on the France Bleu Limousin website.
