Maxime Gosset won in 22 seconds 87 hundredths in the 50 meter butterfly final. This is the same time as that achieved this morning by Florent Manaudou in the series. We should see Gosset again in the 100m butterfly, a race which is part of the Olympic program unlike the 50 meters.

19:05 – Charlotte Bonnet, French 100m breaststroke champion

Former Olympic medalist (4 x 200m freestyle in 2012), Charlotte Bonnet won the 100m breaststroke event. However, she did not achieve the requested minimums (1’06”79) her time is well above (1’06”79).
