A helicopter circles above the Crozon peninsula in search of a resident of the peninsula, whose relatives have not heard from since Saturday morning, November 9, 2024. Blonde, thin, wearing glasses and measuring 1.70 m, the wanted person, who lives on the peninsula, had taken the GR 34, at a place called Trez-Rouz, between the communes of Camaret-sur-Mer and Roscanvel.

According to the call for witnesses launched by the gendarmerie this Sunday noon, the missing person is Claire Masson, 39 years old. She is dressed in dark gray leggings, wears neon orange basketball shoes and a red jacket. She would have a black backpack with orange stripes.

Resumption of research this Sunday morning

Since Saturday, very significant search resources, combining gendarmerie personnel, firefighters and sailors, a helicopter from the French Navy as well as two boats from the SNSM (National Society for Sea Rescue), have been deployed to the scene. from 10:30 p.m. until 2 a.m., without producing any results. The search resumed this Sunday morning.
