Big scare for a child who found himself prisoner of the slime during a fishing trip with his father on the Rillé lake in the north west of Indre-et-Loire., Sunday November 10, 2024.
Local firefighters accompanied by the departmental divers team freed the 11-year-old boy from his liquid prison.
A child trapped in the mud saved by firefighters
“The child is safe and sound,” indicates the Indre-et-Loire departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS37).
The alert was given shortly before 11 a.m., Sunday morning at the place called La grande maison. The town of Rillé is located between Château-la-Vallière and Noyant-Villages (Maine-et-Loire), a few kilometers south of Lude (Sarthe).
According to the elements reported by the SDIS37, the father and his son were fishing on foot when the incident occurred.
These are the staff of centers of Continuvoir and Lathan who intervened, supported by departmental divers.
