Let’s go for the new edition of the Trail du Saint-Jacques which, since 2012, invites runners to compete in the heart of Haute-Loire up to Puy-en-Velay. The event took on a new dimension with its entry into the UTMB World Series circuit in 2022. And the organizers intend to show it this year.
A host of entertainment will punctuate the day for the public who will also see hundreds of competitors compete on the different courses.

Guillaume Tiphène completes the event in 7 hours and almost 14 minutes. This is the first time he has won over such a long distance, according to the stats of the UTMB world series. Yoann Stuck and Morgan Pouliquen followed him.

Behind Mathias Carrot (in picture)from Dunières, who finished in 15 hours and 19 minutes, two Polignacois stood out: Jérémie Assezat (15 hours 45 minutes) and Julien Trescarte (5 minutes behind).

Hundreds of trail runners (998 starters are recorded) set off on the Ultra, the premier race of 130 km with 5,500 meters of positive altitude difference, in Saugues from 10 p.m. (it is possible to follow them live on the website of the UTMB).
