Bignona, June 15 (APS) – A fire broke out at the middle school (CEM) of Diouloulou (south) and reduced the administration premises of this educational establishment to ashes on the night of Friday in Saturday, APS learned from a municipal councilor in this commune in the department of Bignona.

“We are impressed by the damage, and we wonder about the causes of this fire and are waiting to know the outcome of the investigation,” the president of the municipal commission in charge of education in Diouloulou told APS. , Boubacar Keita.

“A few weeks before the exams, all the administration premises, the principal’s office, that of the supervisors as well as the library completely caught fire,” lamented Mr. Keita, according to whom these services reduced to ashes housed “all the archives” of the establishment.

Residents of Diouloulou questioned the circumstances of this fire, the doors of the premises ravaged by the fire were broken down, the windows dismantled, which suggests a criminal act.

There are also messages left on the premises and insults uttered against the principal of the establishment, report these people interviewed by the APS.

“Archives, birth certificates of students, report cards, Baccalaureate booklets as well as reprographic materials, computers, office furniture, everything is nothing more than a pile of ashes,” lamented Boubacar Keita shocked.

He went to the site, on behalf of the councilor of Diouloulou, to observe the damage.

The gendarmerie was also on site, to carry out reports and collect clues.

She opened an investigation to clarify this matter.

When they woke up this Saturday morning, the populations of Diouloulou could only see the extent of the damage caused by this fire.
