Summer is coming, we hope at last, and with it, the Music Festival. Several events will be organized in Sud-Avesnois and in the North. It is in Anor that the music festival will begin, this Saturday, June 15. On June 21, Jean-Baptiste Guégan will be the headliner at Fourmies.
HAS Ants in the North, the city will welcome a star of French song, Jean-Baptiste Guégan, vocal double of Johnny Hallyday, who will headline the evening of June 21 at 9 p.m., Place Verte. In the first part, the Girls Power Tribute (Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Beyoncé) will set the tone. At 11 p.m., meet at Mado Square with DJ Sqwad & Basstrick and a laser show. In the afternoon, the streets of Fourmies will come alive from 2 p.m. with Mozdrums, street musicians with interactive light effects, smoke and pyrotechnics. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., performances from the music education center which organizes its open days.
Saturday June 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., PEM (musical education center) open house and concerts at Place Mado. 11 a.m., at the Antoon Krings library, concert of the balladins. From 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., it’s the Central party: concerts, dance shows with Pascrecelles, Doremika, Fashion dance, Ant modern dances and introduction to dance with Line Road 59.
At 7 p.m., inauguration of the renovated Place Verte and No’Mad’s Land concerts. At 11 p.m., Place Verte, big fireworks and light show.
Other fun meetings in the North
HAS Liessies, June 21 on the square from 8:30 p.m., Memphis Combo concert (rock and roll). Refreshment bar and barbecue. Saturday June 22, church square, Midsummer lights : from 6 p.m., country meal, at 10:30 p.m., torchlight procession with music with the SP fanfare from Avesnes-sur-Helpe, and at 11 p.m., burning of the pyre, pasture behind the cemetery.
HAS Anor, Saturday June 15: 6 p.m., Enchantanor choir, 7:30 p.m. Alor Lee, 8:45 p.m. The rock in stone, 10 p.m., NostalRock (barbecue offered by the L’Elisée brasserie).
