Still no defeat in four home games this season for the Trélissacois. But the 1-1 draw against Canet-en-Roussillon is disappointing, given their good performance.
Even if TFC preserved its invincibility on its synthetic pitch against the second in Group A of National 3, it clearly lost two points this Saturday evening. Because he dominated and controlled 95% of his meeting against Canet.
In the first half, the number of chances was not representative, only a crushed volley from Mehdi Elanbri really forced the opposing goalkeeper to work, after a corner that he himself had pushed back (43rd). At the same time, his opposite Noa Charrieras, apart from a few outings, had just seen a shot deflected in a controversial manner by Brahim Kamissoko.
TFC came back stronger after the break. Jordan Pothier resisted Tony Algrin in the Catalan area but saw his shot deflected by Damien Graves for a corner, on which Anthony Eustache, alone at the far post, volleyed just over (50th). So Elanbri's opening score, with a low rebound from a cross from Pothier, was logical (1-0, 56th).
Four minutes of floating
But the Trélissacois then suddenly lost track. On a cross to the far post, Naim Hamdi threw himself but narrowly missed the target (57th). Then, from a corner, Hugo Aubourg's header crashed onto the crossbar (59th). Two free warnings which turned into a goal when Hamdi, found 16 meters behind the defense, chained control and lob on Charrieras (1-1, 60th).
Canet then began to settle for a draw again, falling back. The players of Valentin Dumont and Fred Venou saw the assistant referee rectify a penalty whistled by the center for a Catalan handball (70th) and Aboubaker Boughazi crossed his shot too far from 18m (75th). In addition, Elanbri and Patrick Tchoutang received their third warning of the season. Like Lucas Dumai and Ange Gnaleko, they will be suspended on November 24, in Onet-le-Château. The TFC will have to find recourse in the middle.
