Flour mill
The Périgord-Limousin regional natural park organizes Sunday June 23 an exceptional private tour of the “Chez Raymondeau” flour mill. The site ceased its activity in the 1970s, but remained intact, with turbine, sorter, sieve and other equipment. Come visit the inside of this flour mill to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of artisanal flour milling, and learn a little more about the river eco-system and the importance of keeping them in good ecological condition. The visit is free, but as the number of places is limited, you must register at 05.55.53.55.36 (PNR) before June 20. Meet in the parking lot of the Sainte-Croix church in Gorre at 2 p.m., bring hiking shoes or boots.

Dancing meal
The Saint-Jouvent festival committee is organizing a paella dancing meal on Saturday June 22 at 12 p.m. in the multipurpose room. This will be hosted by the Les Compères orchestra with Michel Faure on accordion. The paella will be prepared on site by Franck Chartier, caterer in Ansac-sur-Vienne (16) and served by the festival committee team. The price is set at €28 per person, drinks included. Wine
The third place of Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat L’Escalier organizes Tuesday June 18 at 6:30 p.m. a conference on the color of wine, co-hosted by Patrick Trouillas, researcher at the University of Limoges and expert on colored molecules in fruits and vegetables, and Delphine Pierre, wine and vine technician in Saint-Léonard. Clearance sales
– Sunday June 16, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Couzeix cultural center, the Thé en Pages association is organizing a book, games and record clearance.
– Sunday June 16, the flea market The Heritage of the Past and the Limoges-Couzeix SPA refuge are organizing a big clearance sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the village of Auziat, commune of Saint-Laurent-les-Églises. Garage sales
The traditional garage sale on rue des Papillons in Limoges, organized by the association Les flies ont pied, will take place on Sunday June 16 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Originality, a jury will deliberate to designate the most unusual object exhibited during the day. A refreshment bar will offer various drinks and snacks (pastries, fries).
Pool
Aquapolis will be closed from Monday June 17 to Friday June 21 for works (heating network, repair of the finishing coverings of the hammams in the wellness area, ventilation, false ceilings, tiling, painting, etc.).
Straw
Odéys, a neo-Aquitaine cluster for sustainable construction and development, organizes Tuesday June 18 at 6 p.m., Clancier auditorium of the BFM center of Limoges, a film debate on straw construction. On the menu, viewing of the video report “Sustainable architecture – straw” from Arte, animated quiz on straw construction, feedback from the project of the Maison de l’Énergie de la Haute-Vienne and the Jean-Rebier college of ‘Isle. The latter was in fact equipped with prefabricated insulation panels made from blown chopped straw. Free upon registration here.
Lotto
The Le Rêve en Musique association is organizing a lottery at the Ladignac-Le-Long village hall, on Sunday June 16 at 2:30 p.m. It will be hosted by Cécile. Fourteen games will be offered with vouchers, 80 cm TV, food processor, hammock, sun lounger, hams and lots of meat, etc. to be won. Reservations possible at 06.84.01.67.23.
Training
The eighteen AFPA adult vocational training centers in Nouvelle-Aquitaine are organizing an open day Monday June 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Visitors will be able to discover numerous professions and find out about the training offers available in the sectors which are recruiting.
