The National Rally enters the campaign for legislative elections in Yonne. Julien Odoul, outgoing RN deputy is candidate in the 3rd constituency (Sens-Joigny). He came to tow at the Villeneuve-sur-Yonne market on Friday morning. The municipality was not chosen at random. Residents voted more than 47% for Jordan Bardella’s list in the European elections on June 9. In the last legislative elections of 2022, Julien Odoul was elected with 53.77% in the municipality.
On the market square, almost all residents accept National Rally leaflets. Julien Odoul is a well-known face residents in the village: “we can’t do more on the ground than him”, supports Laurent, trader. “He is constantly on the markets, at demonstrations,” continues the trader who plans to vote for him on June 30 and July 7.
Here we don’t hide it, we have been voting national front and national rally for a long time. “I have always voted on the RN side”, declares Josée retired. “I like Marine, I like her ideas and I won’t change. Let’s vote RN!” she says.

The candidate says he is “serene”
In his element Julien Odoul says to himself “serene” for this blitzkrieg. “There is no conquered ground, there are above all fellow citizens to convince”, supports the RN candidate. He intends to do “lots of land, lots of proximity to markets” in the next two weeks. “The battle is not over”, he believes.
For these legislative elections, the outgoing MP will face PS candidate Nicolas Soret, current mayor of Joigny and former MP Michèle Crouzet under the Modem label.
